"ULTRA" MAGNETIC PLANT


(ULTRA FAST SOLUTION FOR CLAMPING THE MOULDS)

INTRODUCTION

" ULTRA " Magnetic Platen, a new development in our product range.  Magnetic Platen allows safe, fast & easy clamping of moulds.  'ULTRA" Magnetic Platen can be used on any Injection moulding machine of various capacities.  Due to this advance technology, it reduces the hydraulic & mechanical clamping system & provides Quick Mould Changing (QMC) & Just-in-Time (]IT) moulding.  The Platen will not loose its magnetic power while using continuously, at higher temperature.  The Magnetic Platen is suitable for any machine & Temperature range from 0-1000C, 100-1500C & 150-2500C.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE
"ULTRA" Magnetic Platen works an the ELECTRO PERMANENT MAGNETIC SYSTEM that develops very high magnetic force.
The essential feature of the Electro permanent System is the operation wit no Electrical power; owing to the materials contained in them, the system develops magnetic clamping force independently.  The electrical control equipment is only to Activate & Deactivate the M Units inside the platen i.e it'll not loose its magnetic power in case of power failure as it doesn't required power once it is magnetized. As a result, Energy consumption to operate a magnetic clamping system is miniscule.

The Holding force of the magnetic platen is determined by the Magnet type, Configuration and Ratio of the area of the magnetic platen to that of the mould plate.

FUNCTIONING

                 Magnetic clamping systems are simple (no moving parts) & fast.  Magnetic force can be applied or removed within few seconds ' A mould change involves bringing both mould halves typical magnetic together, securing the mould halves; demagnetizing the platen & then lifting the mould out of the press by suitable means.

                      To mount a new mould, the operator has to match the c mould base to the locator ring on the stationary platen, then brings the moving platen in until it touches the opposite mould plate . Now, the operator is to Magnetize the mould, remove the straps holding the mould halves together then pulls the moving platen back.  The machine & mould be ready for production.-
